October 29, 2026: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC, has won two national awards for indigenous technology development and refinery innovation at the 29th Energy Technology & Innovation Meet (ETM) 2026.
The company was adjudged the winner in the categories of ‘Best Indigenously Developed Technology’ and ‘Best Innovation in Refinery’ under the Innovation Awards 2025-26, instituted by the Centre for High Technology (CHT), under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
The awards were presented on October 27 at ATI-ONGC in Goa, recognising technological advancements in India's petroleum refining sector.
