October 29, 2026: Yesterday, Shri Alok Tripathi, IRTS, Joint Secretary (Gas), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, visited the ONGC and ONGC Green pavilions at the 29th Energy Technology & Innovation Meet (ETM 2026) in Goa.

The Joint Secretary emphasised the need to: 

Utilise ONGC’s engineering strengths to indigenise critical CBG equipment such as membranes, agitators, slurry pumps and gas compressors

Explore opportunities in Middle Eastern markets for Fermented Organic Manure (FOM) as a soil binder

Strengthen industry collaboration to standardise CBG plant designs and equipment
