November 4, 2026: Jatin Kumar Nayak has assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

Nayak took charge at IREDA's registered office in New Delhi on October 30, following approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), as communicated by MNRE through an order dated October 29, 2026.

Before joining IREDA as CMD, Nayak was serving as Executive Director (Finance) at REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of the erstwhile REC Transmission Projects Company Limited, a subsidiary of REC.
