October 3, 2026: The awards were presented during the India SAF Conclave 2026 held in New Delhi. The certificate was handed over by H.E. Kenneth Felix Haczynski da Nóbrega, Ambassador of Brazil to India, to the BPCL team led by Sanjeev Kumar, Business Head (Aviation).
BPCL attributed the recognition to the coordinated work of teams from:
Refineries
Corporate Research & Development Centre (CRDC)
Corporate Planning & Optimisation (CRPO)
Biofuels
Aviation
These teams have been working to accelerate the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and support the decarbonisation of the aviation sector.
